Thank you for the following:
- Reminding me of my priorities
- Providing a certain sense of order (especially when everything around me seems chaotic)
- Helping to get things done (Sorry, but I do enjoy ticking you off)
- Getting a whole muddle of things out of my head and onto the page
- Bringing a few potentially lonely things (flour...milk...eggs) together and making them belong
- Being disposable and sometimes recyclable
Oh, dear, wonderful lists, you are loved by control freaks, OCD sufferers and simple list-lovers alike. Once I wrote the longest To Do list - gosh it was overwhelming. Strangely, by the next day I had misplaced you. At first I panicked but after a while I felt liberated!
Thank you, lists

P.S This blog post is dedicated to my friend, Catherine, who is neither a control freak or an OCD sufferer. Once we wrote a book of lists just for the sheer pleasure of it.

A list of why your blog about lists is so great:
ReplyDelete1. It is so true - where would we be without lists?
2. It has inspired me to write a list (this one in fact)
3. It is dedicated to me :) !!
Thx x
