There's a road from Ballarat
to Daylesford
with rusty cows
and orange sheep
and views of the whole world
The earth is turned
and there are potatoes for sale
Sacked up and slouched
beneath Gums with trunks
like thick set thighs
Roadside grasses
soften the edges
Autumn's leaves spin
and fall through
a four o'clock light
jojobee
