Some would say you're boring, but I want to thank you for appearing over and over again. Without you, I would only run one lap of the Tan; I'd apply sunscreen only once and be wrinkled like a Shar Pei; I'd be surrounded by a pong from lack of showering; I'd never learn to pronounce 'Merci Beaucoup' and I wouldn't know what three times seven is. Repetition, you have a place in this world and don't you forget it. I said, Repetition, you have a place in this world and don't you forget it.
Where would we be without Seinfeld repeats? How would we get up when we fall? How would we sing our National Anthem or sleep or eat or crawl? How sad it would be to have one birthday only. And imagine a single harvest of apples from only one orchard during one lonely summer. Goodbye apple pie! Goodbye summer! Fairy bread wouldn't be the same sprinkled with ones...and a beach would not be a beach with just one grain of sand.
So I say thank you to you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you for your seasons every year, your midnight every night, your weekend every week, for your cycles and recycles and echoes and duplicates and reiterations.
Thank you. Thank you.
